Most of the times I see Katy in one of her quirky outfits, I feel like placing her in the Wow or Eww category… because when it comes to this girl, it’s either love or hate.
So, here’s Katie in a dress that is… 1. skintight, 2. short, 3. leathery, 4. cleavagey and 5. edgy. And a pair of floral stockings… and I’ve learned that stockings with big patterns have the “ability” to make your legs look thicker than they are.
Flattering, unflattering, too much, jaw-dropping, could do better, awesomely hot… which one is it?

Here’s long-time-no-see Katherine Heigl in a pair of skinny jeans… and they are not particularly flattering. Why? Mostly because they make Katherine’s legs look shorter (not necessarily thicker) than they actually are, especially since they’re paired with a long top and with the flattest flats.

Not a fan of Rihanna’s make-up this time (too many color combinations just in one small area: the lips, the eye-shaddow, the hair, the highlights, the top), but she’s looking fabulous in that suit. I know that Jordin doesn’t have the ideal curvy body, but we need all the resources in order to balance the situation here - cause you’ve got to agree, “skinny” is much more popular than “curvy” in Hollywood.
Even if you might call Jordin “chubby” (I’d call her “healthy” though), you’ll have to agree that she is making the most of hersize 12figure on this occasion. In fact, her dress resembles quite a lot Alicia’s dress in the previous post and basically follows the same “tricks”: long enough to camouflage thicker thighs, marking the waist and the upper body and hiding the hips and thighs under a smart and fashionable design.
P.S. Blue nail polish is on so many toes these days.

A while back, Jordin (who is5′11” and aUS size 12,according to most sources) gave some tips to plus-size girls on how to dress for their shape. The tips are a little old, but Jordin gives some great advices, definitely worth posting. Here they are:
1. Baggy clothes can make you look bigger. You want something that hugs you in all the right places just not too much, where its too tight and youre hanging out all over!
2. I have a tiny waist in proportion to the rest of my body, so I like to wear corsety things that hug my waist.
3. Darker types slim your legs down. A lighter wash jean makes everything look bigger.
4. V-necks give you an elongated neck. A crew neck can look like its choking you!
5. Dainty necklaces are nice. Chunky ones cut (your figure) up.”

Dear Jessica,
I see that you insist on wearing clothes that do not flatter your shape - either that, or you are very fond of yo-yo-ing and gain and lose loads in a matter of days - Ihighly doubt that, so I stick with my theory that, in your case (or, more precisely, in your body shape’s case), the clothes you choose are highly relevant.
Why isn’t this outfit perfect? Firstly, you look great in shorts - just not the ones that might reveal your butt when you barely bend. Secondly, gotta work on creating a waist. Therefore, adding layers in the middlearea or items that have the potential to look baloonish when associated with your impressive boobsis not recommended.
I mean, I say all these cause you looked so super pretty here. Bring back the A-line dresses, the V necks, the fitted clothes, the tight jeans and long T-shirts!

It’s not so much that Jessica gained some pounds(we’ve been wondering for a while what was going on under all the baggy clothes), but it’s the fact that she chose a really unflattering outfit for her body type. The kind of outfit that only enhances the areas where she seems to deposit her weight: upper arms, bust, upper abdomen, shoulders and back.
What’s wrong with the outfit? Let’s see:
1. The thick belt around the middle is the last thing a reversed triangle needs, because this belt basically adds a little more volume to the bust area.
2. The round neckline should be abandoned in favor of the V neckline in order to elongate the thickest area of Jessica’s body (chest).
3. The high-waisted jeans - this kind of pants are generally unflattering, although some hourglasses or vases might pull them off. V body shapes, however, are advised to avoid them because all they do is to shorten the torso (the last thing a V shaped figure with a very small torso needs). Jessica would look great with long tops that elongate the waist and balance the whole figure. Even more, the voluminous pockets in the middle area arenot flattering, because they add a little extra volume where it’s not needed.
4. Also, I would have chosen a looser top for Jessica (not very loose, but not skintight either) with sleeves.
5. The hair is pretty by itself, but I have noticed that Jessica actually looks slimmer when she’s wearing it in a pony tail. Since she’s already very curvy in the upper half, the super-big hair is a little too much and it unbalances the figure.
NOTE: I do not believe that Jessica is fat / chubby / thick / insert similar word. All I believe is that she could look MUCH, MUCH better (amazing, actually) in the right clothes… and I’m a little sad that she doesn’t seem to have the right stylist.

Dear Jessica,
You chose 2 or 3 perfectly fine andflattering outfits since the infamous high-waisted jeans pictures. And the last time we saw you in a pair of dark wash jeans, you were looking incomparably thinner and fitter (click hereif you missed it!)- fact which shows that there is absolutelynothing wrong with your weight, and people have no reason to comment negatively about it… as long as you dress according to your body type.
And those daisy dukes right here are not part of “the right clothes” group, mainly because they aretoo small, as seen in the first pic.
Please please please wear some A-line dressesor skirtsand flared jeans.
