In case you were missing Katie Holmes, here she is with her family, celebrating the 4th of July. I’d say that based on this candid, Katie isn’t looking as skinny as she did a few months ago, even thoughshe’s not exactly carrying a healthy glow- who’s with me?

Now on another issue, if some were complaining that Katie has been losing her innocence and sweet doll face in the past years and inclining towards a mature (even old) style and aspect, I am pretty sure that this new hairstyle she’s been sporting is not helping the matters.

It’s no surprise to anyone at this point that Katie is walking around in men’s clothes (as Katie herself declared) or that even when she’s wearing women’s clothes, she’s going for a masculine or boyish look - like in this case above.

We could say that, at least body-wise, the looks is working for her, thus making her look tall and lean, slim and trim.

Katie Holmes Finally Gives Us Material

Finally! Awesome! Why am I so ecstatic? Simply because I have been waiting for a loooong while to spot Katie in something relevant from a body-gossip point of view. You know, something that reveals her body (at least partially), a tight dress, a minidress, a short skirt, even some fitted pants. But we all know, Katie has been offering baggy jeans, long coats and other such stuffs that didn’t give us any clue abouther figure instead.

And now, tadaa! The short dress was on my “Must see” list and it’s on Katie now - The conclusion? Katie’s got great legs: non-skinny, but slim and looong, nice to see them NOT undercover for a change!

Katie Holmes Exhibits the Results of Posh

OK, let%26#8217;s see. The bad? This is truly an unflattering angle. The good? Even from such an unflattering angle, Katie looks slim (and we all know that in 98% of the pictures, she looks downright skinny). More of the bad: Katie%26#8217;s hair blah, the make-up blah again. Seems that the hair accentuates her lost cheeks - which, apparently, are the result of Victoria Beckham%26#8217;s %26#8220;let%26#8217;s diet%26#8221; influence, if we listen to Katie%26#8217;s hubby%26#8217;s words. The good? The choice of clothes, for a change. Why? Because well, we are used to see miss Tom Cruise dressed like, well, Tom Cruise or like Tom Cruise%26#8217;s mom. But that is not the case here, cause she is almost, almost dressed her age.

Katie Holmes and an Untypical Outfit

I am aware that this is not the ideal picture for a body inspection, butthis picis interesting from other points of view. Such as, for once, the fact that Katie’s wearing what appears to be man jeans - or just some very large jeans that many of us wouldn’t have placed in her “mature, serious, classy” wardrobe.

Secondly, one small question and I’m gone: The gloves?? Anyone has got ideas? Funny, cause there have been certain celebs who used gloves in the past… in order to hide engagement rings… or lack thereof.

Last time we saw Katie, she was wearing men’s jeans. And gloves. And no, the last time we saw Katie was not in January, she was wearing long, black gloves in the middle of the summer, without any apparent reason. In case you missed it, click here!

This time, Katie is, yet again, really close to a manly outfit - thank God for the shoes that are saving the situation a little. But the rest, starting with the large jeans to the belt and from thecardigan that screams “Tom’s style” to the (overly debated) hair, Katie is just very, veryfar (on another planet, actually)from the Katie she once was.

Katie Holmes loves wearing Tom’s clothes - wow, it even rhymes! So yes, that’s true. The masculine look that Katie has been sporting lately is all because of the fact that Katie was, indeed, wearingmen’s clothes, as she admitted herself. Why, you ask?

Apparently, Katie “feels closer to Tom” when she’s in her husband’s outfits. Furthermore, she was surprised to find out that the manly items fit her really well - but require a belt for a perfect fit.

Katie Holmes Performing in a Tight Outfit

Why are tight black outfits perfect for body size & shapeinspection& analysis? Because they perfectly reveal the body’s contour, thus letting us observe every (toned or not, ideal or not) form.

Verdict: Katie’s got slim, yet strong-looking legs, flat, but not the flattest stomach of all (nor should she) and a pretty skinny upper half. Plus, she seems pretty graceful.

Guess the Cost of Katie

Her latest look comes just a week after her stunning appearance at the Japanese premiere of husband Tom Cruise’s film Valkyrie last week where she was described as looking absolutely flawless. The mother-of-one is said to have splashed out a fortune on the incredible makeover, which took more than two days to execute.

While holed up at the Ritz-Carlton in Tokyo ahead of the red carpet appearance, Katie was reportedly treated to intensive pampering sessions by a team of beauty experts. She also apparently spent 7,000 in spa treatments, 20,000 in dental veneers and further 1,000 for premium make-up.

The pampering certainly gave the actress back her sparkle, which seemed to have faded in recent times as the result of a rumoured Scientology detox . ‘She was happier than she’s been in months,’ a source told America’s InTouch magazine. And fans were impressed too, with one observer telling the publication: ‘She didn’t have a wrinkle on her face, her hair was perfect, and she had the body of a supermodel. ‘She was absolutely flawless.’

Mrs Cruise had also taken out the long hair extensions she debuted last week despite the fact that they take six hours to put in and were rumoured to have come with a 2,000 price tag.

…At least that’s what InTouch Weekly says:

Katie and Toms relationship is troubled, says a pal, adding that Katie often holds her tongue to avoid upsetting Suri. Her priority in life is being a mom.

The bottom like is, Katie wants her own life, the pal says, adding that its hard to come by because Tom is such a big star. She wants to be more than Mrs. Tom Cruise.

The pal claims Katie has began to rebel against the relationship in subtle ways, like overeating when Tom isnt around. He usually has her on a strict diet and exercise routine, but since shes been in Australia, shes put on five pounds shes been eating chocolates, potato chips and pizza. Tom has mentioned to her that shes putting on weight, but she doesnt care.

Katie wants to strike out on her own as she sees fit, even if it means making the wrong career choice. Even her recent appearance on So You Think You Can Dance was green-lighted by Tom, another pal explains. Shes tired of it.
