Jessica Is a Size 8 More Speculation

Wow, “Jessica Gained Weight” appears to be the story of the week! More and more rumours and responses are surfacing - here are 2 different versions:

OK! Magazine:

Indeed, the singer sent a statement to critics: She loves her curves! “I’m not fat,” Jess recently confessed to a pal. “Going from a size 2 to a size 8, that’s not fat. If I weren’t Jessica Simpson, no one would care.”

Jessica’s confidence no doubt comes from her boyfriend, Dallas Cowboys Quarterback Tony Romo, 28. “He thinks Jess is hot no matter what,” a friend of the singer tells OK!. “He wants to date a girl who can have a few beers, ribs, fries and dessert.

And it seems Jessica is more than happy to indulge Romo’s wishes. “She’s not willing to trade having fun with Tony with being a size 2,” the friend says. “She doesn’t want to have people focus only on her looks.”

MSNBC:

“She’s loving it,” said a source close to Simpson, who suspects her weight gain is strategic. “It will probably get her back on covers right when she is a ’supporting’ act on tour. I bet Joe (Simpson) has already sold the weight-loss story.”

Despite the benefits of once again being a newsstand success, Simpsons rep says rumors that dad is shopping around the story are entirely untrue.
